It all comes down to core values

Our relationships with our customers, employees and the community in which we live, are guided by our core principles: vision, focus and passion.

The picture is always bigger. So we ask more questions – not just about how things are today, but about the opportunities and threats coming at you in the future. We work hard to understand the vision for the future; matching the right technology to your unique needs.

We know the devil is in the details and consistency counts. Expertise and vision are only half of the equation. We also need to follow through and deliver, but tools and methodology aren’t enough. We keep perspective on the objectives and focus on what matters.

At VFP Consulting, we have a passion for software making a real difference. This is challenging work and not for the faint of heart. To be good at what we do, we have to love it. Our team has a passion for excellence, and individually we have the drive to deliver great results.

I Love that there's a hugeopportunity to grow and take on

Whatever energy we bring to projects, relationships with our customers, employees, and life, radiates outward. Even the most mundane of actions or “inputs” can have wide-reaching consequences. Some know this phenomenon as “the butterfly effect,” a term coined by eminent MIT meteorologist and pioneer of chaos theory, Edward Lorenz. Lorenz posited that the smallest, most seemingly innocuous of actions, can have wide-reaching and significant consequences. This sensitivity to initial conditions means that the smallest change or input can alter the trajectory of intended paths. In 1972, Lorenz submitted a paper to the American Association for the Advancement of Science, entitled “Does the Flap of a Butterfly’s Wings in Brazil set off a Tornado in Texas?” This beautiful and evocative question makes team VFP mindful of how we work. Our experiences have taught us that vision, focus and passion must be present to minimize chaos and ensure ordered, positive results, not just for the current project or task, but for how we are as a company, as your business partner, employer or colleague.
