As the Learning & Development Manager, you will actively lead projects focused on developing and delivering employee development solutions that align with business priorities and have the opportunity to work with the VFP Leadership Team to own the execution, measurement, and continuous improvement of the learning and development strategy.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a thought leader by keeping current with the latest technologies and trends, provide an informed point of view on relevant topics, along with being an ambassador for VFP and for learning and development in general.
  • Create, execute, and drive the development of appropriate, relevant, and differentiated learning programs which support skill development aligned with employee and business needs.
  • Implement various company-wide learning methods (e.g. coaching, job shadowing, online training, etc).
  • Continually assess the success of the development plans and optimize the employee experience to achieve maximum employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Connect with and manage the relationships with external stakeholders (Partners & Communities) to keep updated on innovations and best practices.
  • Lead the design, development, pilot, delivery, and evaluation of innovative learning and capability development solutions
  • Define and execute L&D strategies in collaboration with VFP leadership
  • Align project teams and stakeholders to implement highly effective and innovative learning solutions, including digitized content, individualized learning paths, and development in the flow of work.
  • Build, manage, and leverage positive, collaborative partnerships across the VFP team.
  • Provide functional expertise to identify, research, and resolve complex problems.
  • Represent VFP through social media posts, presentations at user groups and conferences, blog posts, activity in the Salesforce/FinancialForce communities, or other suitable channels for demonstrating the eminence of VFP and the VFP team.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

  • Experience working in a learning and development organization
  • Prior consulting or professional services experience is preferred but not essential
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with an ability to collaborate with team members on best practices
  • Experience working in a learning and development function

  • Ability to organize information and present powerfully.
  • Experience managing ambiguity, building something new, with a strong ability to execute
  • Desire and ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • Salesforce certifications are highly desirable
  • 4+ years of experience working in a professional consulting organization, ideally in a SaaS environment, implementing CRM, SFA, ERP and/or PSA applications
