I just watched this year’s Salesforce Dreamforce keynote, and the common thread across every speaker was speed. Jensen Huang put it best: “Don’t get left behind.” Benioff’s pitch that AI is the next fundamental shift in how people interact with software isn’t a “someday” story; it’s happening now, in every industry, including ours.
We took that as a challenge to act on, not a slogan to repeat.
A couple of months ago, we turned it into an internal manifesto: every team at VFP hunts monthly for one piece of their own repeatable work and automates it. It’s already running. Discovery calls are automatically turning into structured Campfire requirements. Weekly account summaries assemble themselves from Slack, Fathom, and Certinia data. Solution designs draft themselves from requirements already sitting in Campfire. We’ve got 30+ more use cases queued behind those, and a standing cadence to keep finding more.
We’re bringing clients along the same path, not just watching them figure it out. Before we automate anything for a client, we help them define what an AI strategy actually means for their business: where the guardrails go, what’s ready to automate, and what isn’t yet. Then we start small, on purpose. One manual step turned into one automation. That single win almost always exposes the next one, and the one after that, until what started as a point solution becomes a full process, and eventually a new business capability. That’s how you unlock the value that’s been trapped in systems nobody’s had time to modernize, exactly the phrase Benioff used on stage.
And we’re building that same intelligence into what we sell. Campfire’s AI Engine takes what used to be manual Salesforce “build” work and cuts build cycles by 40%+, directly configuring the solutions in the customer’s Salesforce environment.
The firms that will lead this next wave won’t be the ones who talked about AI the best. They’ll be the ones who automated their own work to unlock additional value, then helped their customers do the same. That’s the race we’re running.
